Description: Participated in a community closet initiative with a costume theme, where I assisted in sorting, folding, hanging, and organizing garments while curating and styling the accessories table. Along with guiding advising the individuals who came to enjoy the event. The event aimed to create an engaging and inclusive environment that encouraged community members to express themselves through fashion.
Reflection: Contributing to the community closet initiative deepened my understanding of fashion as a tool for creativity and connection. Along with the importance that accessibility to fashion has in individuals' lives. Styling the accessories table allowed me to explore visual storytelling while promoting accessible, expressive fashion. This experience strengthened my commitment to using styling and creative direction to build inclusive, inspiring spaces through fashion.
