This project on Draping centers on the creation of a white mini dress that embodies the boundlessness of femininity through structure and fluidity. Crafted from silk, satin, and organza, and reinforced with boning, the design reflects the contours of the human body; celebrating its strength, delicacy, and form. The tight silhouette accentuates movement and shape, with seaming to reflect the ribcage. With the organza reflects the ambiguity of gender that is standardized to be "feminine". Accompanied by a draped spine necklace. Beyond garment construction, the project extended into styling and creative direction for a conceptual photoshoot set in a ceramic room; chosen for its raw textures and sculptural purity. Just as clay is molded in the ceramic space, the environment echoes the ways femininity is sculpted by expectations.

Skills Demonstrated: Corsetry and boning techniques, material layering, styling, creative direction, conceptual fashion photography.

Takeaway: This project deepened my understanding of the relationship between structure and softness; how clothing can both mold to and magnify the body.
